Parador de Aiguablava reopened in 2022 after a complete renovation. Its stunning surroundings offer excellent facilities and a family-friendly, tranquil atmosphere.
The Parador hotel is privileged to be perched above the Mediterranean, offering unrivaled views of the Costa Brava coastline from the top of Punta d'es Mut cliff. The hotel is surrounded by pine trees, with an almost untouched natural environment. Few places are as ideal for escaping everyday life.
Spain is More is proud to be a 'selected partner' with Paradores. Our partnership allows us to offer stays and tailor-made itineraries at competitive prices at all Parador hotels in Spain.
From the hotel's spa and wellness area, guests can enjoy views of Aiguablava Bay. The pool, fitness center, sauna, terraces, and outdoor areas have been newly renovated, and the entire property has been modernized. The beach, nestled between the cliffs, is easily accessible.
Most rooms have views of the Mediterranean.
Just four kilometers from the hotel is the town of Begur, dominated by a medieval castle atop its hill. The town's houses reveal its popularity during the Spanish colonial period of the 19th century. Wealthy returning colonists from South America built numerous beautiful homes and palaces. The 'Fira d'Indians' festival is celebrated the first weekend of September, commemorating Begur's colonial past (in Spanish, these returning colonists are called "indianos").
There are numerous water sports opportunities, from diving in Aiguablava Bay to renting a boat to explore every corner of the Costa Brava coastline. You can also enjoy cycling or horseback riding in rural areas. Many cultural attractions are within a short driving distance.
The gastronomy is outstanding, and the area boasts excellent restaurants. The hotel itself offers a renowned cuisine that is a hallmark of Parador hotels.
It is possible to add half board, suite rooms, and more.
