The Basque country is a region of great contrasts where you can find everything no matter what you are looking for. Here culture runs throughout several first level festivals. The Basque country is also monumental and offers an interesting historical and artistic heritage such as Guggemheim Museum in Bilbao.
Its landscape is diverse and ranges from mountains where you can go hiking to sandy beaches and high cliffs. Most Basque beaches are well equipped and offer the possibility to practice many water sports like surfing, sailing, canoeing and diving, among others.

The pleasure of eating and drinking is considered an essential part of the local culture.
