Camino trip
Emily and Don RehDear all at Spain is More, First let me say Feliz Navidad! I did not intend to wait so long to send you an email thanking you for all you did to make our camino spectacular! However, since returning to the States, life seems to have gotten away from me. I expect that is the case for many people.... Read more I did want to write and let you know how much we appreciated the work you did on the planning.stages and the guide you sent. It made the walk so much easier. We found all the hotels, especially the Paradors, to be wonderful and the people very welcoming. The Camino del Norte was an amazing walk and we loved the scenery from the hills, oceans and beaches. Elevation gains did get the best of us from time to time but we just took one step at a time, and an elevator or moving sidewalk on occasion! We liked having suggestions of what to see along the way and then where to go to eat once we got into towns. There were a few instances where the places were closed (due to day of the week or our late arrival) but we really enjoyed all of the varied dishes in the north. My husband liked the Fabada so much he had it every chance he got and has even tried to replicate it at home! The walk along the del Norte was calm and peaceful and we did not see many other peregrinos. That changed when we got to the Camino Frances but we enjoyed meeting other walkers and hearing their stories. One great memory was the stay in Santillana del Mar where we encountered a group from the UK who were touring in their motor cars. The Parador there was lovely and it was fun to walk around the small town. I was surprised at the size of many of the towns where we stopped. I had not expected them to be so large. It made finding the hotels a bit interesting at first.I am glad we had an extra day in Bilbao, Santander and Leon. It made the walk that much easier. My husband has said several times that he wants to return to explore the smaller towns in a bit more depth than we could do walking through. You made the trip so easy from the start to finish and took care of all the details. Arriving in Santiago was memorable and we felt proud of our accomplishment. We hope to walk some more in Spain and maybe we will look to complete part of the Portuguese Way one day soon. I have also passed your name on to several friends who walk and are interested in the Camino. Thank you, Mil Gracias,

Kayakholiday in Galicia
Thomas NeeronA very special setup! A high-energy ride and tour de force in the Ria de Arousa. The feeling is very familiar, the touch very personal, the atmosphere very authentic, the nature beautiful, the food great! All together like being on tour with your good friends, who have done everything to impress you... Read more. At times almost reaching crazy over-ecstatic heights. 10 hours in the kayak each day (breaks included) combined with overnight stays in dorms and tents drains your energy and your batteries will be low at the end of the week! Happy but tired!

Camino de Santiago Francés
Helge og NoraHi! We had a wonderful pilgrimage! Was tired in the evening, so we often wondered if we could move on the next day. But every morning we were ready and was anxious to see what the day would bring.
