Culture, landscapes and exquisite cuisine in a relaxed and exclusive atmosphere, travelling aboard the Al Andalus train along the unique landscapes that have brought fame to Andalusia’s magic spell.
Train Al Andalus will show once again its elegance and sophistication throughout the Spanish railways tracks. The trip begins in one of the most beautiful cities in all of Europe, Seville, where you will sleep one night before and it will end on Malaga on the mediterranean coast, with one night after the train ride. If you wish, you could make the trip in the opposite direction.
You can expect full board comfort during the train ride, including wine and coffee at meals, staying in standard or superior suites (extra cost), all equipped with a wardrobe, luggage compartment, safe, minibar and individually controlled air-conditioning, as well as large windows and a magnificent suite with shower, hairdryer and varied set of first-class welcome items.
Luxury Train Al Andalus showcases its original features that make this railway car and authentic jewel, and yet it still has the latest technology and offers a splendid setting for many activities: enjoying a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner on board, relaxinging with a drink or enjoying a musical performance in the piano car. Arrival to Sevilla, one of the most beautiful cities of Spain. Here you have many things to visit, also you can discover its gastronomy in one of its many terraces. Here you will stay in a 4 – star Hotel.
Start your journey with a Travelers' Reception at the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville at 10:00 a.m. Next, while the staff moves your luggage onto the train, you can explore the capital of Andalusia, which has the largest historical Old Town in Spain. Be sure to visit the dazzling Cathedral, the Giralda, the Real Alcázar and the Archivo de Indias. After lunch, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and walk around the famous Plaza de España before climbing aboard the Luxury Train Al Andalus. You'll meet and be welcomed by the train crew with a drink before settling into the suites. Dinner will be served on board as you roll onto Jerez, where you'll stay overnight.
You will start the morning, like every day, enjoying your delicious à la carte and buffet breakfast. Next, our luxury bus will take you to Cádiz, popularly known as "La Tacita de Plata" considered the oldest city in the West and the southernmost of the entire Europe. Visit to the city and lunch. In the afternoon we will return to Jerez, a city known worldwide for its wine tradition. Dinner and night in Jerez.
After breakfast, we will have the opportunity to visit a winery and enjoy the show "How Andalusian Horses Dance", an equestrian exhibition in which riders will have the opportunity to demonstrate their expertise, an authentic equestrian ballet. Lunch onboard the Al Andalus train, which will now roll into the stunning city of Ronda, where you will have dinner and stay the night.
After breakfast, you will visit Ronda, a bucketlist, breathtaking location, set on a plateau cut deep by the river Guadalevín into the Tajo de Ronda ravine. Back on the train you will have lunch, while you will head towards Córdoba, former capital of the Emirate and the Medieval Caliphate of Al Andalus. Dinner and night in Cordoba.
After breakfast, we will have the opportunity to visit the breath taking Mezquita – Cathedral of Córdoba, once the largest mosque in the world with capacity up to 20.000 people. We will continue visiting the city before going back to the train. Lunch onboard while we reach Ubeda and Baeza, both cities have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the evening we will arrive to Granada, a beautiful town nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Dinner and overnight in Granada.
The morning is dedicated to touring the Alhambra, the most visited monument in Spain. A rich palace complex built by the Nasrid rulers of the Kingdom of Granada, its extensive grounds and palace are a marvel. Once lunch is finished, you have free time to explore the city. At night, the whole city is wrapped in a magical spell that you will surely enjoy as you dine. Overnight in Granada.
After enjoying your last breakfast on board, we will say goodbye to the train and its crew to arrive by bus to the city of Malaga, on the Mediterranean coast, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
We will visit the city including the Alcazaba, the Cathedral and its old town. As a final touch to the trip in "Al Andalus", we will have the opportunity to discover one of the most emblematic buildings of the city, the "Parador Castillo de Gibralfaro" where we will have lunch and end the trip at approximately 5:00 p.m.
