From Sevilla to Granada or vice versaDetailed itinerary (view all days )Day 1: Arrival to SevillaArrival to Sevilla, one of the most beautiful cities of Spain. Here you have many things to visit, also you can discover its gastronomy in one of its many terraces. Here you will stay in a 4 – star Hotel.
Day 2: Sevilla - JerezStart your journey with a Travelers' Reception in Seville (Hotel to be Defined) at 10:00 a.m. Next, while the staff moves your luggage onto the train, you can explore the capital of Andalusia, which has the largest historical Old Town in Spain. Be sure to visit the dazzling Cathedral, the Giralda, the Real Alcázar and the Archivo de Indias. After lunch, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and walk around the famous Plaza de España before climbing aboard the Luxury Train Al Andalus. You'll meet and be welcomed by the train crew with a drink before settling into the suites. Dinner will be served on board as you roll onto Jerez, where you'll stay overnight.
Day 3: Jerez - Cádiz - JerezYou will start the morning, like every day, enjoying your delicious à la carte and buffet breakfast. Next, our luxury bus will take you to Cádiz, popularly known as "La Tacita de Plata" considered the oldest city in the West and the southernmost of the entire Europe. Visit to the city and lunch. In the afternoon we will return to Jerez, a city known worldwide for its wine tradition. Dinner and night in Jerez.
Day 4: Jerez - RondaAfter breakfast, we will have the opportunity to visit a winery and enjoy the show "How Andalusian Horses Dance", an equestrian exhibition in which riders will have the opportunity to demonstrate their expertise, an authentic equestrian ballet. Lunch onboard the Al Andalus train, which will now roll into the stunning city of Ronda, where you will have dinner and stay the night.
Day 5: Ronda - CórdobaAfter breakfast, you will visit Ronda, a bucketlist, breathtaking location, set on a plateau cut deep by the river Guadalevín into the Tajo de Ronda ravine. Back on the train you will have lunch, while you will head towards Córdoba, former capital of the Emirate and the Medieval Caliphate of Al Andalus. Dinner and night in Cordoba.
Day 6: Córdoba - Úbeda - Baeza - GranadaAfter breakfast, we will have the opportunity to visit the breath taking Mezquita – Cathedral of Córdoba, once the largest mosque in the world with capacity up to 20.000 people. We will continue visiting the city before going back to the train. Lunch onboard while we reach Ubeda and Baeza, both cities have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the evening we will arrive to Granada, a beautiful town nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Dinner and overnight in Granada.
Day 7: GranadaThe morning is dedicated to touring the Alhambra, the most visited monument in Spain. A rich palace complex built by the Nasrid rulers of the Kingdom of Granada, its extensive grounds and palace are a marvel. Once lunch is finished, you have free time to explore the city. At night, the whole city is wrapped in a magical spell that you will surely enjoy as you dine. Overnight in Granada.
After lunch, we will continue the visit to Granada.
Dinner and overnight stay in Granada.Day 8: GranadaAfter enjoying our last breakfast on board, we will bid farewell to the train and the crew.
We will make one last visit to the Nasrid city to reach the hotel, where we will have lunch and finish the journey around 4:00 p.m.
The Al Andalus journey will officially end after this lunch.
We will check into a lovely hotel in the center of Granada.
The rest of the time will be for relaxation and sightseeing on your own in Granada.
Day 9: DepartureYour journey concludes in Granada (or Sevilla), unless you have chosen to include homeward transportation with Spain is More. Remember, it's always possible to add extra nights after the trip as per your preferences
