NEW 2026 Itinerary!
The legendary Al-Andalus train now runs between Seville and Madrid – through Andalusia, Extremadura and Castilla-La Mancha. The journey combines famous Andalusian gems such as Seville and Córdoba with Spanish jewels like Toledo and Cáceres – enriched with unique nature and world-class culture.

The journey starts in either Seville or Madrid – and ends correspondingly at the opposite end. In the following, the route is described starting from Seville. Seville is one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, where you will spend one night before or after the train journey. The train journey includes full board and accommodation in your own luxury compartment. All excursions, entrance fees, etc. are of course included.

The journey takes you through some of Spain’s most iconic cities such as Seville, Córdoba and Madrid – spiced with hidden gems like the medieval city of Cáceres and the historic jewel of Toledo. Along the way you will experience Andalusia’s vibrant culture, Extremadura’s unique nature and the evocative landscapes of Castilla-La Mancha.

The train belongs to the same series that once transported members of the British royal family on holidays along the French Riviera. When you step onto the platform and are guided to your private luxury compartment, you will immediately notice the Belle Époque details and the authentic sense of true luxury.

This is a journey in style, first class, through southern and central Spain. Al Andalus offers two categories of compartments: Grand Class Room and Deluxe Suite  (click the link for more about the compartments).

Travelling on the Al Andalus train is not just about getting from one place to another – it is an experience in itself. A journey where you immerse yourself in Spain’s history, culture, landscapes and gastronomy, while being carried away by the train’s calm rhythm.
