Camino Expert John (Part 2)

John has now been walking for more than 80 days on two different routes: Camino Frances and Camino Portugues. He started in SJPdP and walked 800 km to Santiago, took a plane immediately after that and started to walk from Lissabon to Santiago. Now he is walking backwards on the Camino Frances.

I am not walking three Camino's, I am walking one Camino, my Camino!

"I am almost at the end of my Camino, for me Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (SJPdP) will be the finish line. Other pilgrims have their sense of achievement, their sense of relief when they arrive in Santiago, but for me it will be in SJPdP. You set a goal as a pilgrim and it is very emotional when such an immense journey comes to an end."

 "For me the Camino means
to deconnect and to destress. And I am
looking forward to go home

and connect with my loved ones again
after almost 3 months of walking."
